The focus of interior design encompasses the planning and selection of colors, materials, furnishings, and spatial layouts to create aesthetically pleasing and functional indoor environments. Interior designers consider various elements such as lighting, color schemes, textures, and the overall functionality of spaces when working on projects. This profession requires a deep understanding of design principles, human behavior, and spatial relationships to create comfortable and visually appealing interiors that meet the needs of the occupants. In contrast, architecture primarily deals with the design and structure of buildings, landscape design focuses on outdoor environments, and urban planning pertains to the organization and development of city spaces. Each of these fields has distinct objectives and areas of expertise, differentiating them from the specialized focus of interior design on indoor spaces.
